Why I Wrote This Book
If I had known then what I know now, I would’ve asked completely different questions before I ever thought about taking a GLP-1. I wanted to know how much weight I could lose, how fast it would happen, whether the shot hurt, and whether insurance would pay for it. What I didn’t ask was what happens if I have to stop, whether the hunger comes back, how much muscle I might lose with the fat, what happens if insurance suddenly quits paying, or whether I was signing up for something I might need long-term. I was so focused on the result that I didn’t even know enough to ask about the rest of the story.
That’s why I wrote this book. Not to tell anybody to take a GLP-1, and not to scare anybody away from one. I wrote it because you deserve to know the questions before you’re six months into the decision wishing somebody had brought them up. Amazon blocking my book didn’t make those questions disappear, and it damn sure won’t stop us from asking them.
